It is a coloring and patterns drawing activity of Pop Art for making birthday cards, Mother’s Day and all other celebrations cards. I designed these models of hearts and flowers taking inspiration from the colorful universe and the geometric Pop Art style. This activity includes printable models to fill in with designs and color. For each model, there is a version with patterns drawn only for coloring and a version without a pattern for drawing patterns and then coloring (in this version, examples of patterns are integrated). This has to adapt to several school levels.

Students will analyze the artist’s style and its specificity to create a work inspired by the painting “the woman with the parasol” with various techniques. This initiation to the history of the arts of painting and more particularly to the impressionist technique allows to develop the sense of observation and therefore the creativity of the students. The model to be painted is included. From the last year of kindergarten, students love this activity.
